After the lashing out at the management of PSL 4 and claiming copyright infringement of using his sister Nazia Hassan’s songs in their opening ceremony without prior approval, it seems Zoheb Hassan has calmed down. The legendary pop star took to Social Media to confirm that the closing ceremony of Pakistan Super League’s fourth edition will be paying a tribute to Nazia Hassan with two of her iconic songs – Dosti and Disco Deewane.
I am pleased to offer our song Dosti to @thepslt20. It will feature along with Disco Deewane as a special Tribute to my (late) sister Nazia Hassan at the HBLPSL Closing Ceremony in Karachi.

Zoheb Hassan confirmed the news, saying, “I am pleased to offer our song Dosti to the PSL. It will feature along with Disco Deewane as a special tribute to my (late) sister Nazia Hassan at the PSL Closing Ceremony in Karachi.”
It was during the opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League last month when Shuja Hyder and Aima Baig sang Disco Deewane, which angered Zoheb Hassan and he said that he is ‘going to make an example out of this’.

People did like Aima Baig and Shuja Hyder’s version although it would have been better had they taken prior permission to perform the iconic song.
Even Zoheb Hassan didn’t confirm who will sing the two songs that were massive hits when they were released back in 1980s. In fact, Disco Deewane was even used in a Pakistani film Sangdil and was filmed on the beautiful actress Babra Sharif.
Nazia and Zoheb Hassan heralded the pop music era in Pakistan and revolutionized the music industry with their songs, most of which are even popular today.
